Norwich University’s Bicentennial Gala will be in the spectacular (still under construction) National Museum of the United States Army. Located at Fort Belvoir, VA, the main building will display selections from the Army Art Collection and have an extension display of artifacts, documents, and images, most of which have never been seen by the American people. This capstone museum will open to the public on June 4, 2020 but Norwich guests will have a sneak peek look at this incredible portrayal of Army history and traditions.

From I-95
Take exit 166A to VA-286 S/Fairfax County Pkwy and merge onto VA-286 toward Fairfax Co Pkwy/Newington/Ft Belvoir. Drive about 2 miles and take left onto Liberty Drive. Drive straight back past the guard house to the parking lots.
From Route 1/Richmond Hwy
Turn onto VA-286 N/Fairfax County Pkway. Drive 1 mile and turn right onto Liberty Drive. Drive straight back past the guard house to the parking lot.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available a short distance from the museum entrance. Golf cart service will be available to assist those with mobility issues. Guests may also be dropped at the museum entrance before proceeding to the parking lot.
Schedule:
5:30 p.m. – Doors open
6:30 p.m. – Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres
8 p.m. – Dinner and program
The event will conclude at approximately 10:15 p.m.
Cost: $50.00 per person includes appetizers during cocktail hour, seated meal, champagne toast and birthday cake. Cash bar will be available for beverages.
Dress: Business/cocktail attire
Army Chief of Staff GEN James McConville will address the group as the guest speaker.
