Join President Mark Anarumo and alumni around the world on Saturday, August 6th as we raise a toast in celebration of the 203rd anniversary of Norwich’s founding! For those in the area, join President Anarumo at J. Morgan’s Restaurant at the Capitol Plaza in Montpelier where he will be mixing up the 1819 Cocktail as it becomes a permanent addition to the restaurant’s menu. Several NU Clubs, including Student Sendoffs in Washington D.C. and Colorado will take part virtually. Gather your Norwich family or log in on your own to join us in this celebration. 

Here’s the recipe for the 1819 Cocktail:
1 part maple infused bourbon
2 parts bourbon
1/2 part sweet vermouth
1/2 part rye whiskey
1 T cocktail cherry syrup per serving
2 dashes orange bitters per serving
