Farewell Tour Honoring President Richard Schneider
Northfield, VT event cancelled
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the State of Vermont’s executive orders regarding public gatherings, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the June 26th dinner celebrating President Schneider’s retirement. We know this is disappointing news for all who had hoped to say good-bye to President and Mrs. Jaime Schneider and wish them well at this event. Our first concern is for the health and safety of the Norwich family and an in-person celebration is not possible at this time.

Those who previously purchased tickets or sponsorships for the Northfield event have the following options:
- Request a refund in the amount of your ticket or sponsorship.
- Donate the ticket or sponsorship amount to the Schneider Legacy Project. Gifts to this special initiative will honor the incredible impact President and Mrs. Schneider have had on the university by increasing financial aid in the fall of 2020 and give Norwich the flexibility to address immediate needs as they arise over the coming months.
