The Norwich University Regimental Band will perform in concert at Zankel Hall in Carnegie Hall on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate their 200th anniversary. The performance will feature light classic selections, traditional marches, Broadway show tunes, and patriotic musical medleys. In addition, the performance will premier two compositions written especially for the band by Michael Sweeney and Carly Golladay.

Internationally recognized composer Michael Sweeney is currently director of band publications for Hal Leonard LLC in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, one of the largest publishers of printed music in the world. Since he joined the company in 1982, Hal Leonard has published over 500 of his compositions and arrangements.

Carly Golladay is a composer, pianist, and music educator based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her compositions have been performed throughout the U.S. Her string quartet Labyrinth (2009) was performed by the world-renowned Avalon String Quartet at the Musica Viva Festival in Blacksburg, Virginia.
