NUAA launches monthly Buddy Check Day   Your Info

The most fundamental responsibility of Norwich alumni is to look out for each other. Beginning this month the NU Alumni Association will kick off Buddy Check Day which will continue on the 18th-19th of every month. We will send you an email—and text if we have your mobile number—as a reminder to get in touch with classmates and friends for the camaraderie and to check on each other’s well-being.

10TH MTN DIVISION FILM COMING TO NORWICH

 
Mission Mt. MangartThe New England premiere of  Mission Mt. Mangart will take place at Norwich on Saturday, January 14. This award-winning documentary follows the U.S. Army’s famed 10th Mountain Division in the Julian Alps region of Italy at the end of WW II.

General admission includes a pre-film reception with filmmaker and professional skier, Chris Anthony, plus one raffle ticket for over $5,000 in fantastic prizes.

Join us on Thursday, February 9 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC for a special event to benefit the Harold “Doc” Martin Scholarship. Named for Norwich’s first Black graduate and Tuskegee Airman, the scholarship is awarded to talented minority students with financial need. Retired Maj. Gen. Cedric Wins, superintendent of the Virginia Military Institute, will be the keynote speaker.

Norwich names 2023 Commencement and Commissioning Speakers

General Joseph Dunford (top), former Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff and 36th Commandant of the Marine Corps, will deliver Norwich’s commencement address on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Rear Admiral Scott Robertson NU ’91 (bottom), will serve as Saturday afternoon’s commissioning officer for this year’s ROTC graduates.

U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary logo
NU ESTABLISHES COAST GUARD Auxiliary Program 

Norwich will sign a charter establishing a Coast Guard Auxiliary University Program (AUP) on Tuesday, January 17 at 1 p.m. in Mack Auditorium. The program gives students a competitive advantage toward earning a commission as a Coast Guard officer. The ceremony will be live-streamed and can be viewed here »
