We support Cadets in two ways:
through scholarships and with an emergency fund.
Our organization was made aware of an unmet need for students facing unexpected or emergency situations during their senior year. While we continue to award scholarships each year through our current endowment, we have shifted our focus to include a new Emergency Fund geared towards emergency assistance. The fund is designed to help:
Students who are members of the Corps of Cadets in their final year before graduation who show a true emergency in paying Norwich University tuition and room/board costs after normal financial aid has been exhausted.
We believe this new effort aligns with our mission to help cadets in time of need or crisis. We foresee a balanced effort between awarding scholarships based upon financial need, character, leadership, and academic accomplishment and awarding emergency assistance, as needed, to those in crisis through our Emergency Fund.
