NU Club of Houston
Annual Day of Service

Join the NU Club of Houston for a fantastic service event at the Houston Food Bank Warehouse. The club is looking for at least 14 volunteers to help with a variety of projects, including sorting, evaluating, cleaning, and packaging donated food before distribution to those in need.

Date: Saturday, October 23, 2021
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Location: Houston Food Bank Warehouse - 535 Portwall St., Houston, TX 77029

Contact: RSVPs are required in order to provide the food bank with an accurate number of volunteers. Please register no later than Thursday, October 21. Once your registration has been completed, you will receive a confirmation email - this must be printed out and brought with you to your shift.

Special Notes:

*VOLUNTEER FACE COVERING REQUIRED - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN 
*COVID-19 vaccinations or masks are required of all building occupants
*All staff members who are not wearing masks have been verified to have completed their COVID-19 vaccinations and have a sticker on their *HFB Badge ID as proof 
*Volunteers and visitors who show their COVID-19 vaccination card or a photo of that card will not be required to wear masks.
*Temperature checks remain
*Volunteers MUST be at least 6 years old and supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the shift
*All volunteers under the age of 18 also need a completed Youth Volunteer Consent Form signed by a parent or guardian
*Closed-toe shoes required

Parking Information: If space permits it, you may park in the front parking lot, but in the event of a large volunteer turnout, you may be directed to our overflow lot located behind the building.
