Dear Norwich Alumni,
It is both an honor and a responsibility to serve as the newly elected President of the Norwich University Alumni Association.
Like you, my foundation was shaped on the Hill, where leadership is not simply taught, but lived. That shared experience binds more than 60,000 living alumni across generations, professions, and geographies. Our opportunity now is to strengthen those connections in ways that are more intentional, inclusive, and impactful.
First, I want to recognize our newest graduates and commissioned officers. You represent the next generation of Norwich leaders. Your commitment to service, discipline, and purpose reflects the very best of this institution, and the alumni
community stands firmly behind you.
Looking ahead, I am energized by the work of our newly structured Alumni Association Board. This team has been organized with a clear focus: accountability, engagement, and measurable impact. We are committed to building an alumni network that is more connected, more responsive, and more valuable to every graduate of Norwich
University.
Our focus moving forward is clear:
Expand meaningful opportunities for alumni engagement
Strengthen regional and national alumni networks
Elevate and share the stories of our graduates
Create clear pathways for mentorship, volunteerism, and support
However, the strength of this association will not be defined by its board, it will be defined by its alumni.
Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, your connection to Norwich matters. I encourage you to stay engaged. Attend events, mentor a cadet or fellow alum, reconnect with your classmates, and find your place within this community. Together, we will build an alumni network that reflects the strength, character, and leadership that
define Norwich University.
I welcome your thoughts and engagement. Please feel free to reach out directly at Dizonjm87@gmail.com or 201-618-7776.
Norwich Forever,
Joey Mac Dizon ’11
President, Norwich University Alumni Association
