Norwich University Cemetery Association offers a final resting place in a quiet, peaceful setting on a hillside several hundred feet above the Dog River Valley floor.

The Norwich University Cemetery site, known locally as the “Dole Farm,” overlooks Norwich’s Northfield campus.

Cost:  Cremains - $770 | Single Lot- $1,100 | Double Lot - $2,200

NU Cemetery Memorial Bench

Memorial Benches

The Norwich University Cemetery Association offers alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Norwich University the opportunity to purchase a granite bench at the Norwich University Cemetery, up on Dole Hill, to memorialize fellow members of the Norwich Community. 

Cost: $5,000.

Memorial Trees

The Norwich University Cemetery Association offers alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Norwich University the opportunity to purchase a tree at the Norwich University Cemetery, up on Dole Hill, to memorialize fellow members of the Norwich Community.

Cost: $1,500.

Grass Markers

The Norwich University Cemetery Association offers alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of Norwich University the opportunity to purchase a grass marker at the Norwich University Cemetery for their memorial lot purchase.

Cost: $1,300.00.
(includes up to 35 characters including punctuation. Beyond 35 characters is an additional $10.00 per character.)
Standard Norwich University emblems are an additional $245.00. 
Custom graphics will be quoted per request.

Please know that you may use any funeral home or monument manufacturer of your choosing, but the two named above are most familiar with the cemetery’s Rules and Regulations and provide an excellent value to customers.

Visiting Hours

Cemetery operating hours are May 15 – November 15 and restricted to daylight, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Cemetery management reserves the right to close the cemetery from time to time without notice. Vehicles are restricted to designated roads.
