Joseph & Ruth Sabol Memorial Golf Tournament
The Joseph & Ruth Sabol Memorial Golf Tournament is on for Friday, October 16, 2026, at the scenic Sugarbush Golf Club as part of Homecoming 2026. The tournament is open to all Norwich alumni, friends, and family to gather on one of Vermont's most beautiful golf courses.

The tournament supports Norwich Athletics programs and the Joe & Ruth Sabol Memorial Scholarship. The event is named after Norwich coaching legend Joe Sabol and his wife Ruth. Joe was inducted into the Norwich Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992 after leading the Cadets as a football coach, athletic director, and educator. Ruth was an invaluable member of the Northfield community and was inducted into the Norwich Athletic Hall of Fame in 2011 for her service to the athletic department.

Registration: Beginning at 8:30 a.m. - Raffle tickets & Mulligans are available for purchase.
Shotgun Start: 9:00 a.m.
Registration Fees:
Golf Fees: $175 per player - Includes an event favor, greens fees, golf cart, lunch, and post-round appetizers.
***Includes a $50 tax-deductible gift to the Joe & Ruth Sabol Memorial Scholarship.
Sponsorships are available: You do not have to be in person to support this event.
