Panelist Joseph Roy '67, Owner - Coastal Entrepreneurship & Innovation Institute
https://www.linkedin.com/in/joe-roy-42186617/

With over 30 years experience in consumer goods, specialty retail, and his own business, Joe has seen the impact of specialty programs such as improved forecasting, inventory management, rapid response, Total Quality, agile manufacturing, Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma and Supply Chain Management to name but a few. All of these efforts are internally focused within an organization and look for bottom line savings. The Integrated Consumer Chain requires that organizations focus on consumer demand at the point of sale, and responding to demand changes resulting from competitor pressure, advertising changes, promotional activities, and pricing. Traditional retail is under assault, consumers are spending more time shopping online, social media remembers every site a consumer visits and drops new ads for competitive product on your next site visit. Traditional approaches to the changing retail world are not working. Contact information:  joeroy38@gmail.com
