Norwich University’s ring tradition began in Spring 1923, when the senior cadets had a ring made for each member who would graduate in June. Traditions, designs and sizes of the ring have evolved over the past 100 years, but one thing has stayed constant:
the pride every graduate feels for having earned their Norwich class ring.

Bonds of Gold
Alumni and their families are invited to donate NU class rings to be melted down and mixed with new gold to forge class rings for the next generation of Norwich Cadets. Through this program, generations of alumni will unite with the men and women who have most recently earned the honor to wear the Norwich class ring, linking the donors with generations that will follow in their footsteps.
