Norwich University football player, Shayne Leddy ’25, will be honored by the Charlotte Touchdown Club with the prestigious 2024 Defender of the Nation Award on Monday, December 9. The recipient is selected from the nation’s nine service academies, senior military colleges, and top collegiate ROTC programs. Congratulations to Cadet Leddy!

To recognize this outstanding achievement—and an occasion to celebrate—we invite you to a social get-together with Norwich alumni, families, and friends. Cadet Leddy and Coach Bill Russell will attend, and LtGen John Broadmeadow will make his first visit to North Carolina as President of Norwich University. Join us at Tupelo Honey for delicious chef-inspired Southern cuisine and a chance to meet up with old friends, connect with local alumni, and congratulate Cadet Leddy.
