Reflecting the evolution of teaching and learning in higher education, the completion of the $13.5 million in renovations to Webb Hall will be marked a renaming this academic building to North Hall as decided by the Board of Trustees during their October 2018 meeting. North Hall will feature two different classroom styles: traditional lecture halls and technology enabled spaces for collaborative active-learning. North Hall will also have a number of seminar and meeting rooms to allow for high-level classroom discussions in smaller settings or for faculty/student meetings and academic mentoring, much like Mack Hall. A Writing and Language Resource Center and Computer Lab will hone student writing and communication skills and aid linguistic proficiency.
